Animal Encounters

Your family can meet some of Discovery World's animal ambassadors during these interactive sessions held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The program focuses on turtles and snakes—creatures that often fascinate kids—and takes place within the Great Lakes Future exhibit. Staff members lead the adventure, helping visitors learn about these animals and understand their behaviors and habitats in a friendly, accessible way. Sessions run at three different times throughout the day (10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm), so you can choose what works best for your schedule. This is a great activity for children curious about wildlife and wanting a closer look at some of Discovery World's resident animals. Admission to the program is included with general Discovery World entry.
