Animal Encounters

Your family can meet live animal ambassadors during this recurring program at Discovery World's Great Lakes Future exhibit. Staff members lead visitors through an up-close experience with creatures like turtles and snakes, offering insight into these animals' behaviors and habitats. It's a hands-on way for kids to connect with wildlife and develop appreciation for the natural world. Sessions run multiple times throughout the day (10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon), so you can choose a time that fits your schedule. Animal Encounters happens every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, making it easy to work into a weekend outing. Admission is included with Discovery World's general entry, which means your visit covers this activity plus access to the rest of the museum's exhibits.
