Beaver Ecology by Kayak

Join the Urban Ecology Center for an evening paddle on the Menomonee River where you'll discover how beavers shape their environment through dam-building and learn about their remarkable comeback in the Milwaukee area. You'll spend two hours exploring the river by kayak, watching for beaver activity and hoping to spot one in action. All equipment—kayaks, paddles, and lifejackets—is provided, so you just need to show up ready to paddle. This outing works well for families with older kids who are comfortable in a kayak.
