Betty BOO's Spooktacular
Spooky-themed play and activities at Betty Brinn Children's Museum.
Kick off the spooky season at Betty BOO's Spooktacular, a full day of Halloween-themed activities designed to be fun without being scary. Your family can meet live owls brought by Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, learn about bats and other nighttime animals, enjoy spooky story time in the Northwoods area, participate in a Día de los Muertos program, and create special Halloween crafts. Kids can hunt for treats throughout the museum, show off their costumes in a parade, and dance at the Mini Monster Mash. Costumes are welcome but completely optional.
You'll need a special event ticket for admission that day—general admission tickets won't be available. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and buying tickets in advance is strongly recommended since the event may sell out. Keep in mind that tickets cannot be refunded once purchased. This is a great option for families with younger children who want to celebrate the season in a welcoming, age-appropriate environment.
