Big: The Musical

Big: The Musical brings the classic 1988 film to the stage in a theatrical production the whole family can enjoy together. The story follows Josh Baskin, an awkward kid who makes a wish at a Zoltar arcade machine to become "big"—and it actually happens. From there, Josh must figure out how to handle unexpected grown-up situations: finding work, dealing with romance, and managing all the funny (and touching) complications that come with suddenly being an adult. This production features a script by John Weidman with music and lyrics by David Shire and Richard Maltby, Jr., bringing heart and humor to the familiar tale. Directed by Artistic Director Michael Unger, Big: The Musical is designed to appeal to audiences across all ages.
