Boo at the Zoo

Transform your Halloween celebration into a zoo adventure! Boo at the Zoo brings festive fall fun to the Milwaukee County Zoo with a mix of activities perfect for young families. Kids can follow a trick-or-treat trail throughout the day, watch pumpkins become enrichment toys for the animals, enjoy live entertainment, and catch pumpkin-carving demonstrations. Light displays add extra sparkle to the evening. Everyone's welcome to wear costumes, making it easy for kids to get into the spirit of the season. New for 2026, the event now includes daytime Saturday hours, giving families flexible timing options. Admission is affordable—adults are $18, children ages 3–12 are $16, and children under 2 get in free. Parking is included with your ticket. Zoo Pass members receive a 15% discount and access to an exclusive members-only activity during the event. Tickets are available online only, which helps the Zoo manage crowd flow during this popular event. All proceeds support the Zoo's animal care and conservation efforts.
