Boo at the Zoo

Bring your family to this Halloween event celebrating the season at the zoo. Kids can go trick-or-treating throughout the grounds, take in festive decorations, listen to live music, and navigate a hay maze. A real highlight is watching professional pumpkin carvers create animal-themed jack-o'-lanterns right before your eyes. The event runs Friday and Saturday evenings in mid and late October, with extended daytime hours on Saturdays so families can explore at their own pace. If you're a zoo member, you'll get a 15% discount on admission. New this year, members also get exclusive access to a special members-only area with unique experiences. Note that on Saturday dates, the event operates as a ticketed experience rather than accepting regular zoo passes. For the most current details about tickets and hours, check the Milwaukee County Zoo's website.
