Books & Ballet: Story Time and Dance Activity

Join Milwaukee Ballet performers at Wonderland Bookshop for a festive hour combining stories and movement. A costumed performer will read a holiday tale with a Nutcracker theme, then lead children through an interactive experience featuring basic ballet positions, steps, a dance game, and free-form dancing. It's a wonderful introduction to ballet and performance for young kids who enjoy both books and movement. This program works best for children ages 2 through 10. Spots fill up quickly, so advance registration is required—contact the bookshop directly to reserve your child's place. Plan to spend about an hour at the event, held right at the bookshop in Shorewood.
