Botanical Battle Royale WI Cocktail Competition

This is the third year for this friendly competition where Wisconsin's top bartenders face off with creative drinks. Held at the Historic Muellner Building, the event runs from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and features bartenders from around the state competing with signature cocktails made using botanical-forward bitters and liqueurs, paired with spirits from Wisconsin distilleries. You'll get to taste their creations, vote for your favorite, and take home recipe cards to remember the drinks you loved most. Beyond the cocktails, there's plenty to enjoy: food trucks will be on-site with local fare, and you can sample the spirits, liqueurs, and bitters that inspired each drink. A panel of judges—including floral designer Mikel McGee, musician Kevin Bush, and James Beard-nominated chef Karen Bell—will select the winners. Because this event has sold out the past two years, organizers recommend getting tickets soon. Early bird pricing is available through July 26th, and tickets can be purchased online.
