Brookfield Village Holiday Tree Lighting

Join the community for an evening celebrating the start of the holiday season at Historic Brookfield Village. This free family event runs from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and offers plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Kids can write letters to Santa using a giant mailbox, meet Santa for photos, enjoy crafts, and visit Haven's Petting Farm. The evening includes bonfires, hot cocoa, cider, cookies, and s'mores, plus food from a Chick-fil-A truck. Horse and carriage rides are available throughout the event, with sign-ups beginning at 4:00 pm and rides departing every 20 minutes from the south side of Pleasant Street. The highlight happens at 5:30 pm when the beautiful holiday tree is lit. Live reindeer will be on hand, adding to the festive atmosphere. This is a great event for families with young children and those looking for a community celebration without the expense. For more details, contact Dawn Condon at 262-327-1020 or dawnfarina@mac.com.
