Costumes Needed at the Brookfield Library

The Brookfield Library is hosting a free costume collection event where families can browse gently used outfits in various sizes—all available at no cost. Whether you're looking to outfit your child for Halloween on a budget or your kids change their minds about their costume choice, this is a great chance to find something that works. You don't need to bring a costume to take one home; it's first-come, first-served while supplies last. If you have clean, gently used costumes or accessories gathering dust at home, the library welcomes donations through Wednesday, September 30th at the Children's Reference Desk. Please ensure items are in good condition with no rips, stains, or residue from makeup or face paint. Note that donations won't be accepted on the day of the event itself. All sizes are appreciated, from little ones to adults.
