Costumes Needed at the Brookfield Library

The Brookfield Library is hosting a free costume collection event where families can browse gently used Halloween outfits in various sizes. Whether you're looking to save money on this year's costume or your child has changed their mind about what they want to wear, you're welcome to stop by and take home anything that catches your eye—at no cost. No donation is required; you can simply browse and grab what works for your family while supplies last. If you have clean, gently used costumes or accessories taking up space at home, you can donate them to support this community effort. Drop-offs are accepted at the Children's Reference Desk through Wednesday, September 30th (donations aren't accepted on the event day itself). All sizes are welcome, but please ensure items are in good condition with no rips, stains, or old makeup or face paint. This is a great way to give costumes a second life and help other families in your community.
