Downtown Waukesha Tree Lighting

Bring your family downtown for the Night of Lights, a festive celebration that marks the start of the holiday season. The evening features the lighting of a large tree at The Rotunda, complete with live caroling, hot chocolate, and a special visit from Santa. Kids will love the countdown to the big moment when the tree lights up, and there's plenty of warmth and cheer to go around as families gather together. After the tree lighting, the celebration continues with a lantern stroll through downtown, where families can light their own lanterns and follow Santa while caroling through the streets toward Riverfront Street. The evening wraps up at Riverfront Plaza with the lighting of the Walk of Lights, followed by treats, giveaways, and more time to meet Santa. Best of all, this entire event is completely free, making it an affordable way to get into the holiday spirit with your family.
