Environmental Education Outdoor Classroom for Kids at Retzer Nature Center

Retzer Nature Center's Environmental Education Outdoor Classroom brings learning to life through guided exploration in nature. Kids ages 4–12 dive into hands-on activities focused on seasonal topics—this August session explores different hopper species found throughout Wisconsin. Each child needs an adult companion, and the program runs for an hour in mostly outdoor settings, so come dressed for the weather. If conditions turn bad, activities move indoors. Registration is required online; walk-ins aren't accepted. The cost is just $6 per child per session, while accompanying adults are free.
