Fathers Building Fathers Workshop at The Urban Ecology Center Washington Park

Fathers Building Fathers Workshop at The Urban Ecology Center Washington Park

Free hands-on building workshop for kids at Urban Ecology Center.

This workshop is part of Fathers Building Fathers, a 12-week program created to support young dads ages 18–27 as they develop their parenting skills and connect with other fathers on similar journeys. Led by experienced facilitators and community fathers, the program goes beyond typical instruction—it's designed as a supportive movement where participants learn effective parenting strategies, share what's working in their own families, and build lasting friendships with peers who understand their experiences and goals. Classes meet weekly on Tuesday evenings and are completely free to attend, with meals provided for all participants. You'll also receive gifts throughout the program and take part in fun, meaningful activities alongside the learning. If you're a young father looking to grow your parenting toolkit and become part of a community that believes in your potential, this is a welcoming space to do that work. Sign up through the contact information provided to join the next session.
