Florentine Opera: La Traviata

La Traviata is one of the world's most beloved operas, a sweeping story of love and sacrifice set to soaring melodies by Giuseppe Verdi. The Florentine Opera brings this classic to life with full orchestration, elaborate sets, and singers trained in this demanding art form. Families new to opera will find it visually stunning and emotionally moving, though the three-act performance runs several hours. Children should be old enough to sit attentively; opera's intensity and length work best for kids around age 8 and up who can appreciate both the music and the dramatic storytelling.
