GO DOG GO! / VE PERRO ¡VE! At First Stage MKE

Bring your youngest theater fans to this energetic bilingual musical adaptation of the beloved classic picture book. Young audiences will watch as dogs roller-skate, ride bicycles, and zoom around in cars in a production that's equal parts silly and entertaining. The performance moves quickly—about an hour with no intermission—keeping little ones engaged from start to finish. Director Michelle LoRicco has created a show that celebrates the joy and absurdity of the original story while adding music and movement that brings P.D. Eastman's characters right off the page. This show welcomes families with children as young as three years old, though you know your child best. First Stage offers multiple performance times and special accessibility options, including sensory-friendly performances for children who benefit from a calmer theater environment. The production is presented in both English and Spanish, making it a wonderful introduction to bilingual storytelling. Tickets are available through First Stage's website, and families booking multiple shows can create a package deal for added savings.
