Grow and Gather: Eat the Weeds!

Instead of pulling out every plant in your garden, learn which ones you can actually eat! This hands-on workshop at Taliesin's Kitchen Garden teaches families which common garden weeds are both delicious and nutritious. You'll discover how certain weeds work alongside your vegetables through companion planting, and explore the difference between native plants and invasive species—all while understanding how your gardening choices affect the local ecosystem. The experience includes a guided tour of the Kitchen Garden followed by the best part: tasting the weeds and fresh garden produce firsthand. It's a great way to shift your perspective on those persistent plants and gain practical knowledge you can use at home. Tickets are $35 per person.
