Hallowings 2026 in Greendale

Hallowings brings six days of Halloween festivities to Historic Downtown Greendale, with the bulk of activities centered around Gazebo Park. This free event features hundreds of carved pumpkins on display, along with hands-on fun like pumpkin carving (where families help build the illuminated display), pumpkin bowling, and gourd golf. Kids can also enjoy spooky kites and spinners, live music Thursday through Sunday, and treats available for purchase including hot chocolate and fresh apple cider mini donuts. Beyond the main park activities, there are special events throughout the weekend: a pumpkin catapulting and smashing competition at Greendale High School on Saturday morning, plus a Halloween parade on Sunday afternoon featuring floats and free candy for costumed kids, followed by a costume contest. Hours vary by day, running from late afternoon on weekdays to full days on the weekend, so plan accordingly based on when you'd like to visit.
