Harbor Fest 2026

Harbor Fest marks the Harbor District's 10th anniversary with a free, family-friendly celebration centered on the theme "What Lies Beneath." This community event explores the hidden ecosystems of Milwaukee's waterways and offers something for everyone: live music performances, food trucks, interactive art installations, and scenic boat rides along the Inner Harbor. Kids and adults alike can participate in hands-on experiences, including a special open house at UW-Milwaukee's School of Freshwater Sciences and a unique opportunity through Riveredge Nature Center to release baby sturgeon directly into the Milwaukee River. Since there's no admission cost, families can spend as much or as little time exploring as works for their schedule.
