Hartland Hometown Celebration

The Hartland Hometown Celebration is a multi-day festival weekend that brings the community together for music, food, and family entertainment at Nixon Park. The main parade kicks off the Sunday festivities at 11:30 a.m., followed by ongoing carnival games and rides throughout the afternoon. This free event offers something for everyone, with live music performances, food and refreshment vendors, and a kids' zone featuring activities like a rock wall, inflatables, and games (primarily on Friday evening). Families should come prepared with cash, as all purchases—food, drinks, carnival tickets, and alcohol—are cash-only transactions. The park has ATMs on-site for convenience. Parking is not available in the park itself, but designated parking areas are located nearby. Note that this is part of a larger celebration weekend (June 25–28) that includes fireworks and additional entertainment on Thursday and Friday evenings if you'd like to extend your visit.
