Home for the Holidays

Holiday festivities and Santa meet at Old World Wisconsin's historic village.

Home for the Holidays brings seasonal magic to Old World Wisconsin's historic village. Your family will walk through an 1800s settlement decorated with bonfires and festive greenery, climb aboard horse-drawn wagons with jingling bells, and craft take-home ornaments. Kids can meet Victorian Santa in his toy workshop, encounter Jultomten and his giant goat, and spot other holiday characters. The grounds stay open rain or shine, and you're welcome to leave and return during your visit on the same day. Admission ranges from free for children under 5 to $26 for adults and teens, with discounts for seniors ($22) and children ages 5–12 ($18). Society members receive 10% off. Enhance your experience with Time Travel Tokens ($6 each) to unlock activities like blacksmith shopping, leather ornament crafting, or tea room visits. The site features gravel roads and hilly terrain, so wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers. Free parking is available, and modern restrooms are on site. Wheelchairs and scooters receive complimentary admission; contact the site directly if you need additional mobility accommodations.
