Intergenerational playgroups

Your little ones are invited to meet new friends and brighten the day of older residents at Hartland Terrace through monthly playgroups designed for connection across generations. Each session runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and follows a familiar, comfortable structure: a hello song, a simple craft, a themed activity, free play time, and a goodbye song. These interactions help children develop patience and social skills while giving residents the joy of spending time with energetic young people. The program is completely free to join, and all ages are welcome. We encourage families to register for the full session so residents can build ongoing relationships with familiar faces. If you'd like to extend your morning, the Lake Country Mom Movement also coordinates a coffee meetup at a nearby café before heading to Hartland Terrace, giving caregivers a chance to connect with others.
