Jazz Ensembles

Jazz Ensembles performances showcase student or community musicians performing jazz standards, improvisations, and contemporary pieces. Families can expect an intimate, live-music experience featuring small groups of talented instrumentalists—typically saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, bass, and drums. These concerts offer a wonderful introduction to jazz for younger listeners while providing sophisticated musicianship for seasoned jazz fans. The relaxed, listening-focused atmosphere makes it accessible for families who want to explore live jazz in a welcoming studio setting.
