Korea Day celebrates Korean culture with performances, tastings, and games for the whole family. The evening kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with energetic K-Pop dance performances from local crews and an impressive Taekwondo demonstration. At 6:00 p.m., you can sample authentic Korean food and try your hand at traditional games and Hangul writing—this portion is free to attend.
If you'd like to stay for the main event, the Korea Day Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and features the UWM Symphony Orchestra performing classical pieces alongside guest violinist JinJoo Cho, an award-winning competition winner. The concert requires a separate ticket. Whether you're interested in experiencing Korean culture through food and activities or enjoying an evening of live music, this event offers something for families curious about Korea.
