MKE Books & Beers brings free book fairs to The Deer Garden in the Deer District this summer. The August 25th event—called Summer's Last Call Adult Book Fair—runs from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and focuses on vendors catering to adult readers throughout Milwaukee. There's no admission charge to browse and shop. Beyond books, you'll find food and drink options available for purchase both at The Deer Garden and nearby Deer District establishments. The event also includes a community book drive collecting adult and children's books; donations will be sorted and distributed as holiday gifts to local shelters later in the year. It's a casual evening out where you can explore new reads while supporting a good cause.
