Moon Prints: Cyanotype & Visual Poetry Workshop
Moon Prints: Cyanotype & Visual Poetry Workshop at The Catacombs of Neto Art Museum - Las Catacumbas de Neto Museo de Arte
Discover an elegant, light-based art process in this hands-on afternoon workshop. You'll learn cyanotype, a historic photographic technique that produces striking blue prints using nothing but sunlight. Working with botanicals, found objects, and moon-inspired shapes, you'll explore how light, composition, and layering come together to create meaningful artwork. The instructor provides guidance and support throughout, making this a welcoming experience whether you're new to the process or already familiar with photography and printmaking.
Your $75 registration covers the full 2½-hour session plus all materials—chemistry, multiple sheets of cyanotype paper, curated natural elements, and collage pieces. You'll take home a collection of finished 5×7 prints. Optional upgrades are available if you'd like to work with larger premium papers or bring your own photographs to transform into custom cyanotype negatives (advance registration required for personal images). Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
