North Lake Tree Lighting

Ring in the holiday season with your neighbors at this free community celebration! Families are invited to gather at the North Lake Fire Station for an evening of festive fun. The tree lighting happens between 5:45 and 6:00 p.m. (timing may shift slightly depending on the North Lake School Holiday program that runs beforehand). You'll find Santa indoors ready for photos, plus activities like writing letters to the North Pole, decorating ornaments to take home, and enjoying complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Kids can also pick up reindeer food to bring home. Outdoor music sets the cheerful tone throughout the event. This is a wonderful way to connect with your local community while kicking off the Christmas season. The event runs until around 6:45 p.m. and is entirely free to attend. The North Lake community also uses this gathering as an opportunity to collect non-perishable food items for the local food pantry, so consider bringing a donation if you're able. Parking is available at North Lake School or at the lot near the library and tennis courts.
