Oconomowoc Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday season with your family at this festive community gathering in downtown Oconomowoc. The evening features live holiday music from the Oconomowoc Community Choir and the local high school band, plus warm treats to enjoy while you wait. Mayor Rosek will lead everyone in a countdown to light up the town's Christmas tree, creating a special moment the whole family can share together. It's a free event, so there's no cost to attend. Plan to arrive at 4:30 to catch the carols and hot cocoa, then stick around to see the tree illuminate around 5:00 pm. Right after the lighting, the annual Oconomowoc Christmas Parade begins, so you can easily enjoy both events back-to-back. Families gather at the roundabout on the south side for holiday cheer and treats, making it a wonderful way to celebrate together before the parade kicks off.
