Pet Parade at The Historic Cudahy Railroad Depot
Pet Parade at the Historic Cudahy Railroad Depot—bring your furry friend or just watch!
Bring your costumed pets to join the Cudahy Historical Society's first-ever Pet Costume Parade! This festive afternoon celebration invites families to show off their four-legged friends in costume at the Depot and adjoining Immigrant Park. Whether your pet is decked out in an elaborate outfit, knows an impressive trick, or happens to look just like you, there's a place for them here. The event features a costume contest with multiple categories—Best Pet Costume, Best Dog and Owner Costume, Best Trick, and Best Pet/Owner Lookalike—with entry fees of $5 per pet. Contest winners will receive prizes.
Beyond the competition, families can enjoy seasonal snacks and refreshments available for purchase inside the Depot, and capture memories with a Pet and Owner Photo Booth where you can buy printed photos to take home. All proceeds benefit the Cudahy Historical Society's Restoration Fund, supporting the ongoing preservation of this historic landmark. It's a fun way to celebrate Halloween while helping maintain an important piece of local history.
