Spree With Me: Rock Creek History

Join us for a guided hike through Furnace Run that doubles as a history lesson. You'll complete one of our hiking spree trails while discovering the fascinating past of the area and learning what makes this park such a special place to explore. It's a great way to get some exercise while connecting with local heritage. This program welcomes adults, teens, and seniors of all fitness levels. The hike takes place in the Brushwood area of the park. If you have questions before heading out, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is happy to help—just give them a call, and they're available Wednesday through Sunday during afternoon and evening hours.
