Stone Bank Farm Market: Kids on the Farm

Kids on the Farm is a one-hour outdoor class designed for children ages 3–7 (with a required adult companion) to explore nature and gardening together. Led by instructor Allison Clark, a folk herbalist and educator, the class encourages hands-on discovery as kids hunt for natural treasures, learn about seasonal plants, and let their curiosity guide the experience. This fall session focuses on autumn abundance—expect activities around pumpkins, plants, and other seasonal finds. The class runs rain or shine (with indoor alternatives for severe weather), so dress your child in layers and waterproof shoes. Registration is $30 per child, and space is limited to 15 participants. Bring your own snacks and drinks; the farm market also has food available for purchase if you'd like to stay longer. You're welcome to extend your visit and explore the market or have lunch on the grounds. Just note that you'll need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for your child.
