Talavera Birdhouses

**Talavera Birdhouses** Bring your family to this hands-on summer workshop where you'll build and paint your own decorative birdhouse to bring home. You'll work alongside your child to learn basic construction and painting techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind piece featuring traditional Talavera designs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon together while making something functional and beautiful. During the workshop, families also dive into the rich history behind Talavera folk art—exploring how this distinctive style traveled from the Middle East and Spain through Mexico and into Latin American artistic traditions. The session welcomes parents and children ages 6–16 to participate together. Adult supervision is required for anyone under 16, and children cannot attend without a registered parent or guardian accompanying them throughout the event.
