The Green Room and Beyond: A Day in the Life of a Theatre Student

Curious about what theatre study looks like at the college level? High school students—whether you're already performing, working behind the scenes, or just theatre-curious—are invited to spend a day exploring the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. This free event lets you sit in on classes across all four program areas: musical theatre, acting, theatre production, and theatre education. You'll choose to focus on either performance or production activities, giving you a real taste of student life here. Beyond the classroom experience, you'll have time to connect directly with faculty and current students to ask questions and learn more about the program. If you want the full picture, stick around for the evening to watch rehearsals or catch the opening dress rehearsal of "Company" in the Mainstage Theatre. Parents and guardians are welcome to join for the morning tour and can also attend the evening performance if interested. Best of all, there's no cost to participate.
