This is Me: Girl Scout Clinic
Girl Scouts explore women riders' history at the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Girl Scouts will dive into the fascinating world of Harley-Davidson and the women who rode these iconic bikes throughout history. They'll learn about legendary riders like Avis and Effie Hotchkiss, Bessie Stringfield, and Dot Robinson while exploring the museum's new exhibit, "This is Me: Bikes, Gear & The Stories They Tell." Using what they discover as inspiration, scouts will design their own rider outfit by sketching and creating looks perfect for hitting the road.
Throughout the three-hour clinic, girls will engage with historical influences and have fun together as a group while working on creative projects. Every participant who attends will earn the Playing the Past Badge to recognize their accomplishment. Registration is required for troops—contact the museum at 414-287-2755 or email meghan.selkegorski@harley-davidson.com to book. Admission is $25 per Girl Scout and $28 per adult.
