Try Hockey for FREE, Hartland

Is your child curious about hockey? This is a fantastic chance to explore the sport at no cost. Sponsored by USA Hockey, the Try Hockey for Free program welcomes boys and girls ages 4 to 8 to come learn the basics on the ice. All you need to do is register online through the event portal—just enter your zip code and select Mullett Ice Center from the participating rinks list. The rink will have equipment available, including helmets, skates, and sticks, so beginners don't need to own gear. If you have a bike helmet and winter gloves at home, those work too. Knee pads, elbow pads, and snow pants are also smart choices for comfort and safety. Two sessions are being offered: one for boys and girls on October 3rd and another for girls only on October 17th.
