Upcycled Cork Ornaments

Join instructor Karen Fairbanks for a hands-on craft session focused on giving new life to everyday items. During this two-hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of upcycling—transforming materials destined for the trash into something beautiful and purposeful. The project centers on turning wine corks into festive holiday ornaments, specifically a snowflake and a tree design. All supplies needed for the activity are provided, so you can simply show up and create. This class welcomes adults and families interested in sustainable crafting and holiday decoration projects. Participation costs $15 for Boerner Botanical Gardens members or $20 for non-members. Registration is required to attend.
