Village of Merton Trick or Treat

Join families throughout Merton for an evening of Halloween candy collecting at this community-wide trick-or-treating event. Children will go door-to-door through residential neighborhoods in search of treats, making it a classic way to celebrate the holiday. The event runs for three hours, giving families plenty of time to visit homes and gather candy. Best of all, there's no cost to participate—just show up in costume and start collecting! The Village of Merton follows a set schedule to ensure the event works well for both families and residents. When Halloween falls on a weekend, trick-or-treating happens on October 31st itself. If the holiday lands on a weekday, the village moves the event to the last Saturday of October instead. This year, the event takes place on Saturday, giving families a convenient evening to celebrate together.
