Waukesha Unlocked

Waukesha Unlocked throws open the doors to over 80 businesses, organizations, churches, and city buildings for a special behind-the-scenes weekend. You and your family can tour places like the historic Andrew Frame House, local industries, and city facilities that are normally closed to the public. The event also includes outdoor activities such as walking tours of Cutler Park and a public art tour, giving you a chance to explore and learn about what makes Waukesha tick. Families with kids will find plenty of hands-on fun: Touch-A-Truck at City Hall, fire safety activities at the Fire Department, police vehicle tours with K-9 visits, school bus exploration, face painting, bounce houses, pumpkin painting, and performances. While most activities are free, a few tours require pre-registration (which is now open), and the Downtown Food Tour has a fee. Event headquarters is at Waukesha City Hall, where you can grab a Bingo card and plan your route using the digital map or printer-friendly listings. Downtown parking is free for two hours in public lots and structures, or $3 for all-day parking.
