Wee Wonders at Retzer Nature Center

Wee Wonders is a hands-on nature program designed for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2–4) to explore the outdoors and develop curiosity about the natural world. The program runs monthly on the second Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with morning sessions from 9:30–10:30 a.m. and an additional afternoon slot on Tuesdays from 1–2 p.m. Each session costs $6 per child, and a supervising adult attends free. Registration is required and can be completed online by noon the day before; walk-ins are accommodated based on availability if you call ahead and arrive 15 minutes early. Each month features a different seasonal theme. In October, "Fall into Fall" invites families to experience autumn's changing weather and wildlife. Sessions include both indoor and outdoor components, so dress your child for the weather—if conditions are poor, activities move indoors. Each child must have an adult companion present.
