Wheels & Water

If your kids are fascinated by big machines and vehicles, this Discovery World event is worth the trip. Wheels & Water brings together the equipment and people that keep Milwaukee running—from fire trucks and police horses to garbage trucks and emergency vehicles. Your family will get an up-close look at these impressive machines and have the chance to meet the operators and teams behind them. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features multiple organizations including the Milwaukee Fire Department, Police Department, Department of Public Works, and several others. You'll need to purchase admission to access Discovery World's exhibits, though you can save money by buying your ticket online in advance. If you're a Discovery World member, admission is included with your membership.
