Wild Lights at the Milwaukee County Zoo

Wild Lights transforms the Milwaukee County Zoo into a glowing holiday wonderland after sunset. Families can walk through the grounds to discover twinkling displays and festive scenes featuring animal themes, spread throughout the zoo's pathways and wooded areas. If weather cooperates, kids can hop on the North Shore Bank Safari Train or ride the Penzeys Carousel for extra holiday cheer. The event runs select nights from late November through December, opening at 5:30 p.m. with final admission at 8:15 p.m. Plan to dress warmly for an evening stroll under the lights. For details about specific dates, tickets, and any admission fees, visit the zoo's website or call ahead.
